About Our Company
Early on, George C. Wright, Jr., the Founder and Former President of Wright Computer Services, Inc., realized the need for systematizing and simplifying the vast amounts of accounting data used by housing agencies. In 1977, the company began developing computer software to process fee accounts. As new computer technology has been developed and WCS has grown in its expertise, that software has been modified many times over the years. Today, Helen K. Horton, President and Lisa C. Bruce, Vice President of WCS, Inc., provide a complete line of software applications specifically designed for use by Public Housing Authorities who desire to have their own in-house computerized accounting system.
WCS began installing computer systems, including hardware and software, in 1983. The recipients of these systems have been housing authorities ranging in size from 50 to 6,000 units. These systems are unique because they integrate WCS's in-depth understanding of HUD accounting with a network solution. WCS's software covers the entire scope of Public Housing Authority accounting and information management needs, including Accounts Payable, Data Base Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger/Financial Statements, Inventory Control, Maintenance Work Orders/Preventative Maintenance, Payroll/Personnel, PHMAP/PHAS, Purchasing, Section 8 Accounting, Tenant Accounting and Tenant Application.
After purchasing a WCS computer System, skilled technicians will install the system to your specifications. WCS is committed to training your personnel to use the system efficiently, and all WCS Computer Systems are backed by a comprehensive support department.
A firm of highly-qualified and specialized personnel, WCS is dedicated to meeting the accounting and management information needs of housing authorities nationwide. Let their comprehensive Computer System help you put all the pieces together.
